Brian McDonough, Spanish teacher, on the brand new language labs:

We’re using the language lab to prepare teachers for the AP exams to do simulated conversations and to do presentational speaking practice.
It’s really good for paired activities.  You can randomly pair students up.
You can shut down Windows so they can't play with a bunch of stuff too which is pretty cool!
With my non AP classes, this morning I had them do an interview which in years past I would call each pair up one by one  during class, and it takes the entire block.
This interview took 3 and a half minutes for everybody to do all at once.  It was amazing how quickly and efficiently it went.
