French teacher, Mrs. Rochard, recently incorporated Google Hangouts into her classroom in order to bring a homebound student back into the classroom.
Mrs. Rochard now asks her homebound student to join her "hangout" during class. The student is able to ask questions and talk with the class again. The student even shares her screen and her work through the Hangout. Now, it's as if the student never left the classroom. The student is able to "chat" and interact with her peers and become an active member of the class once again.
